Dr. Bazarte is a 1980 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a Florida native from Tampa Bay area and attended Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida for his under graduate education. He is a Veteran having served in the USAF as a Captain and Optometrist at Homestead AFB, FL from 1980-83. He moved back to Tampa Bay in 1983 leasing from Sterling Optical. In 1985 Sear Optical opened new locations in Pamana City and Mary Esther and Dr. Bazarte moved to the Panhandles and opened his office adjacent to the them. He established Primary EyeCare Center in 1991 and Bay Vision Center in 1997. He specializes in General Optometry Care which includes Eye Exams, Glasses and Contacts Lenses. He monitors patients for Cataracts, Diabetes and Glaucoma to name a few conditions and coordinates care when required with Retina Specialty Institude, Eye Center South and Emerald Coast Eye Institude to insure complete comprehensive EyeCare for all.
